
The collection of music manuscripts of international reputation of the Rychenberg Foundation represents the former collection of the Winterthur businessman and patron Werner Reinhart (1884–1951). It includes manuscripts, amongst others, by Conrad Beck, Alban Berg, Claude Debussy, Manuel de Falla, César Franck, Joseph Haydn, Paul Hindemith, Arthur Honegger, Heinrich Kaminski, Ernst Krenek, Franz Liszt, Frank Martin, Darius Milhaud, Nikolaj Mjaskowskij, Albert Moeschinger, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Paul Müller-Zürich, Charles Ferdinand Ramuz (Histoire du Soldat), Max Reger, Othmar Schoeck, Franz Schubert, Richard Strauss, Igor Stravinsky, Carl Maria von Weber, Anton von Webern and Hugo Wolf as well as watercolours by René Auberjonois and Théodore Strawinsky.
The archives of the Musikkollegium comprise the archives of the association and the scores of the Stadtorchester as well as the estate of its long-term patron Werner Reinhart. The archives count nearly 10'000 titles, including music prints and correspondence, in particular by composers from Winterthur, Frank Martin and Werner Reinhart.
The collection of the Rychenberg Foundation and the archives of the Musikkollegium can be found at the Department of Special Collections of the Stadtbibliothek Winterthur and are open to the public by appointment only.

The catalogue of the Stadtbibliothek contains the printed holdings (catalogue/printed holdings) and the manuscripts (catalogue/manuscripts) of the Musikkollegium (if they are left at the Stadtbibliothek). For the printed holdings, the shelfmarks are MB (Musikbücher/songbooks), MN (Musiknoten/sheet music) and MP (Taschenpartituren/pocket scores, Libretti); the search for manuscripts can be limited to the shelfmarks MK (Musikkollegium) and RS (Rychenberg Foundation).
